Welcome

The Beunec Campus Leaders Program is a structured, educational initiative designed to give university students practical experience in community leadership, technical communication, and event facilitation within the tech sector. This program mirrors professional development tracks found in major tech companies, focusing entirely on the student’s skill acquisition in a mentored environment. Participants will also learn to utilize modern enterprise-like software applications, specifically the Beunec Cloud Platform (BCP), relevant for individual and team collaboration in corporate environments.

This is an unpaid educational opportunity aimed at the student's professional growth. Beunec derives no immediate commercial advantage from the activities of the participants.

Program Benefits & Learning Outcomes: What You Will Gain

This program is engineered to ensure that you, the student, are the primary beneficiary of the experience.

  1. Professional Mentorship & Structured Feedback This is the cornerstone of the program's educational value.

    • Real-Time Expert Support: During any event or workshop you facilitate, Beunec supervisors or subject matter experts will be present. They are there to jump in to clarify complex audience questions, ensure accurate information is shared, and support your demonstration.

    • Post-Action Reviews: After every practice session, a Beunec supervisor will provide structured, actionable feedback on your presentation style, organizational skills, and technical grasp of the material, helping you improve for the next session.

  2. Enterprise-Grade Technical Tool Access

    • Tool for Learning, Not Compensation: Participants receive complimentary access to the Beunec Cloud Platform Pro Plan for the duration of the 3-month program. This is strictly provided as an educational tool necessary to participate in program learning activities and understand enterprise software; it is not a "perk," gift, or form of compensation.

  3. Academic Connection & Resume Building

    • Extension of the Classroom: The role is designed to feel like a practical lab component to your university studies.

    • Academic Credit Support: While Beunec cannot grant credit, the structured nature of this syllabus makes it highly suitable for students seeking to qualify for CPT (for F-1 students) or standard academic internship credit through their university.

    • Tangible Experience: Gain verifiable experience in public speaking, technical facilitation, and understanding cutting-edge Generative AI tools for professional readiness; differentiating your resume for future employers.

What Beunec Campus Leaders Do: Experiential Learning Activities

This program is designed as an extension of the academic classroom into a professional tech environment. Unlike a traditional job with set deliverables, your time is spent in structured learning modules designed to build your professional capacity in the emerging field of generative AI and enterprise software.

You are not here to replace a paid employee; you are here to shadow, learn, practice, and receive feedback in a low-risk environment.

Module 1: Intensive Onboarding & Shadowing (Week 1-1.5) Before any practical application, you undergo a structured virtual training curriculum.

  • Deep-Dive Learning: Gain foundational knowledge in Beunec’s proprietary technology, broader Generative AI concepts for enterprise use, and best practices in community leadership.

  • Professional Shadowing: Observe Beunec experienced professionals in action to understand industry workflows in Generative AI and Enterprise App User Experience.

Module 2: Skill Development & Content Translation A core learning objective is mastering the art of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences; a highly sought-after skill in the tech industry.

  • Learning to Communicate AI: Practice taking complex AI concepts (e.g., agentic workflows, large language models) and restructuring them into accessible formats for peers. This includes practicing drafting professional emails, structuring social media posts for educational purposes, and outlining keynote presentations.

Module 3: Facilitation Practice (The Peer-to-Peer Model) Participants apply their new knowledge by practicing public speaking and moderation in a controlled, mentored setting. Note: These are practice sessions for your growth, not operational responsibilities for Beunec.

  • Structured Practice Sessions: You will have the opportunity to act as a peer facilitator for one structured "Lunch & Learn" style session and one technical workshop per month.

    • The Audience: Events are exclusively for fellow college students (Beunec Campus Leaders and other students from the same or neighboring universities) at no cost, creating a safe peer-learning environment.

    • Your Role: You act as a student liaison, practicing delivery skills, guiding group discussions on AI viewpoints, and managing collaborative activities.

    • Example Workshop Topics You Might Facilitate: Learning app programming using an AI agent, building AI agents for specific use-cases, or conducting enterprise-grade research for publication using AI tools.

  • Beunec’s Operational Support: To ensure this remains an educational experience for you, Beunec takes full responsibility for the operational success of these events. Beunec creates the official content, publishes the event, funds the location/refreshments, and provides marketing assets. You are not measured on attendance numbers, lead generation, or marketing KPIs.

Module 4: Project Collaboration Simulation

  • Participate in simulated team projects during virtual meetings, offering ideas and observing how cross-functional tech teams collaborate on complex problems.

Citizenship & Visa Eligibility:

  • U.S. Citizens & Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders): Are eligible to apply. Meeting eligibility does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

  • International Students (F-1 Visa Holders): F-1 students with valid status may apply, however, CPT or OPT authorization is strictly required.

  • Regulatory Note: Because Beunec is a U.S. for-profit company, federal regulations generally view experiential learning programs (even unpaid ones) as requiring work authorization (CPT/OPT) for F-1 students to maintain valid visa status. It is the student's responsibility to secure this authorization from their university DSO before the program start date.

Legal Status, Academic Credit, and Cancellation Policy

Legal Status & FLSA Compliance: Participants are classified as "student learners" in an educational program, strictly adhering to the Department of Labor (DOL) "Primary Beneficiary Test" for unpaid internships under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

  • The program is designed for the student's primary educational benefit.

  • Participants are not employees, volunteers, or independent contractors of Beunec.

  • There is no expectation of compensation, and the program does not guarantee a job upon completion.

Important Clarification Regarding Academic Credit: Beunec highly encourages participants to connect this experience to their formal education. However, for absolute clarity: Beunec Technologies, Inc. does not and cannot offer or grant academic credit.

  • If you wish to receive academic credit, you must proactively reach out to your university department, major coordinator, or career center director.

  • Your university determines the criteria for credit. The granting or denial of academic credit is solely at the discretion of your institution; it is not decided by Beunec.

Program Cancellation & Departure Policy: While this is an unpaid educational program, professional conduct is expected. Participating members may voluntarily cancel their program agreement.

  • Grounds for departure: Participants should feel empowered to leave if they feel the program no longer meets the "Primary Beneficiary Test" (i.e., if it feels exploitative or doesn't provide learning value), or due to personal reasons such as academic load or health.

  • How to cancel professionally: We request that participants speak with their manager first, followed by a formal email confirming departure. Providing a standard two-week notice is highly appreciated to ensure a smooth transition of any learning activities and to maintain professional relationships for future career prospects.
